Akothee set to launch her first self-authored book

Kenyan singer and self-proclaimed president of single mothers, Esther Akoth Kokeyo, alias Akothee, is set to release a self-authored book.

On Wednesday, May 25, Akothee shared a copy of the book on her official social media platforms, alerting her followers to be ready to purchase it when it is released.

According to the flamboyant singer, the book, dubbed “Akothee Quotes”, will be officially unveiled in a launch ceremony at the Eka Hotel on June 4, 2022.

“The University of Life by Akothee, 4th June, Eka Hotel. “Be the first one to grub a copy. The parenting part is my favorite,” Akothee announced.

The huge announcement has excited the majority of her fans and followers, showering her comment section with praise as they wait for the book.

“Massive congrats to my darling Akothee,” wrote Georginaonuoha. “Congratulations ma’am! “Great influence and positivity on society,” Mr. Davie said.

The Abebo hitmaker and founder of Akothee Safaris has officially joined the list of Kenyan celebrities who have authored books. They include Janet Mbugua, Lupita yong’o, Sauti Sol’s fancy fingers Polycarp Otieno, Robert Burale and the most current one, Lilian Ng’ang’a.

On April 12, 2022, motivational speaker Robert Burale announced that he was preparing to launch his second book, titled The Heart of a Man.

Burale’s first book, From the Strip Club to the Pulpit, was released in 2018. It is his personal reflection on his experience as a strip club addict.

Back in February this year, former Machakos First Lady and wife to rapper Juliani, Lilian Ng’ang’a teased her autobiography, ‘Madam First Lady.’

“I am delighted to give you a sneak peek of something special I have been working on for the last two months,” she said.

She explained that the book will cover aspects of her life before fame, all the way to her time as Governor Alfred Mutua’s partner and how they separated.
