Esther Musila, Guardian Angel’s wife has sent a heartfelt message to Maina Kageni today on his birthday and confirmed to netizens that they are indeed close friends.
She took to her Instagram to wish the radio presenter a happy birthday. She expressed her love for the media personality, adding that their friendship means a lot to her.
“Let me tell you Maina. You are so many things to me, I can’t describe you and finish!. You are such a beautiful soul @mainawakageni my friend, my sweetheart, my person,” she wrote.
Musila also shared how Maina played a crucial role in linking her to her now-husband Guardian Angel.
“You introduced me to the man I now call my husband and although this wasn’t our plan when we had that lunch on 13.03.2020.
Musila said she heard a song on Classic 105, and she called to find out about the singer.
“I called Maina Kageni and asked him which song is that. He texted back immediately and told me it is Radar by Guardian Angel,” Musila narrated.
Musila then asked Maina to arrange a meeting with Guardian, and their love story began.
“I believe God had his own plans and you are part of our beautiful love story and I will always be indebted to you.
You taught me how to enjoy life apologetically and I believe I am a good student of yours. May God continue to guide and protect you all the days of your life.

Musila got married to gospel artist Guardian Angel on Tuesday 4 after a long-term relationship.
