Laikipia County Senator Steve Chege is dead. The politician had been hospitalized after an accident.
The news of the accident had been shared by Philanthropist and activist Ndungu Nyoro.
Taking to his socials he captioned
“Dear Steve Chege I have never met you. But I see your energy and passion on this platform. I celebrate all you do as a young Kenyan. Our country is better because of your voice.I have learned you are in hospital. I am sorry for the accident. I pray you get out soon. This country needs you Sir. Win my brother. Win.”
Updating his fans, Nyoro asked Kenyans to go and donate blood for Steve.
On a different post Nyoro confirmed that the politician had succumbed to his injuries.
The news was shared by a man identified as Kirika Githaiga who had been put as a contact for people wanting to donate blood for Steve.
